Portraying her part as Anne Frank, senior McKenzie Mead revises her diary in the Diary of Anne Frank. “The whole cast and crew put hours of research into understanding the lives of our characters and all the victims if the Holocaust. On my own I read Anne’s original diary, learned to knit, kept my own diary and watched tons of documentaries on her in order to understand her as a person and not a character. That was very important to me, that I portrayed her as the real girl she was. The entire cast was amazing and the level of professionalism and dedication brought the whole thing together. It was an amazing experience that will be with me forever.”
