At the band concert, junior Kortney McQuarters plays the clarinet. “I’ve played clarinet since middle school, and I love band. The concert went well, I messed up a few times, but everyone makes mistakes, plus the sound of the band as a whole covered up my mistake, so it went well. The hours of practice put into it paid off, a lot of parents said the songs sounded good and that’s great, because it tells me that all of the work we put into the practices paid off.”
