Over spring break, the Fenton Fire Hall transformed into Honcho Fuego. The restaurant is similar to Honcho, located in Clarkston. Honcho Fuego had a soft opening on April 7, which ends this Sunday.
“We’re firing things up in Fenton-literally!” the business posted on their Instagram, @fentonfirehall, on March 29. “We’ll be closed next week (starting Monday!) as we get ready to launch our new menu…new look…and somewhat new name…with the same fiery spirit!”
Honcho Fuego is a Latin street food restaurant. They will serve Latin appetizers, entrees, pizzas, tacos, soup/salads, a handful of sides and drinks. The full menu can be found on Instagram @eat_honchofuego.
Honcho Fuego also has new hours, as posted on their Instagram:
Monday-Thursday 3-9 p.m.
Friday 3-10 p.m.
Saturday 12-10 p.m.
Sunday 12-9 p.m.
Honcho Fuego is owned by Union Joints. They own 18 different restaurants in and around Michigan.
This Latin joint is a new and exciting addition to Fenton, which will be a perfect place to grab dinner this summer. Anyone interested in applying for a job here can walk in and ask for an application or fill one out online at joinjoints.com.
