Six athletes signed up to play a sport in college on Friday. Senior Zac Miceli signed with Oakland Community College to swim in the Winter season. Im going to miss the team next year, Miceli said. I signed with Oakland because they offered me the most academically. That was the most important thing I considered when I was choosing what college I should go to. Im glad that Im going to continue to swim in college, because I went from dreaming about breaking records to actually breaking records that went unbroken for decades.

As he leans toward the tray, junior Robert Haynes cuts open his worm in his biology class. I thought the worm would be more graphic than it was. I thought that the organs would be easier to see, and there would be more blood, Haynes said. There wasnt a lot of blood, which is good because it wasnt as messy as it wouldve been if there was blood. The only problem I really had was trying not to cut the digestive tract, because if I did, then the digested food and waste wouldve leaked out onto my hands. I didnt cut the tract, so that was good.

Its something you need in life and I am glad I got the opportunity to represent Fenton and show my skills to the other schools at the competition.

Running the at the track meet, freshman Cami Tiemann rounds the 200 meter mark in the meter relay. I am running either the mile for the DMR or the four by eight relay. I like trach its really fun. The Team is great, we have lots of talented people on it and I think that can do really great things together.

The boys swim team swam in the last home meet of the season against Swartz Creek and Pickney. Senior Zac Miceli is one of the seniors who swam in the last regular meet of the season. The team remained undefeated in the regular season after this win. I took first in the 200 individual medley and the 200 free style relay, Second in the 100 butterfly, and third in the 200 medley relay. This meet was bittersweet for me as a senior. Im sad that its over, but ts been a very fun four years and Im going to miss the team next year.

Its an easy and quick way to give back to people and every person that donates helps save three lives, Luchenbill said. Anyone who is considering donating has nothing to worry about.
