Cameron Carlson
Cameron Carlson is spending his sophomore year of high school as a first-year writer for Staff. Outside of Staff, he’s deeply involved in Key Club, Student Council, Marching Band and Environmental Club. Outside of school, he is on the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Planning Committee for Genesee County and is a member of the Fenton First Presbyterian Church Youth Group. Writing is one of his many passions, he also loves to volunteer, read, play the flute, paint, and bird watch. He’s been pursuing his passions in high school by taking honors courses and multiple electives. He plans on going to Cornell University to become an ornithologist and an elementary or middle school teacher. He also wishes to become an artist and an author. When he graduated 8th grade at A.G.S., he was awarded a leadership scholarship which he plans to use toward college, if, and only if, he cannot find a leadership program to put the money toward before hand.
