Taron Masi, Online Editor

This is senior Taron Masi’s third year on the InPrint staff. She holds the position of Online Editor. She is an avid podcast listener. This school year she participates in cross-country, student council, key club, NHS, lacrosse, dance at the Flint Institute of Music, and being the Senior representative for the Fenton Board of Education. When she has free time she enjoys making memories with her friends, traveling as much as she can, and hanging out on the lake.

If I could live anywhere in the world I would want to live in Washington D.C. because I’m in love with the atmosphere of the city. To me, D.C. is different than any other city I’ve been to. I’m going plastic free this summer, which means for shampoo, conditioner, deodorant and toothpaste and other things like that I’m avoiding using plastic. The main reason I’m choosing to do this is because I’m worried about our oceans. I know just one person cant make that big of an impact but it needs to start somewhere. I’m starting with me and hopefully I can influence others to follow suite in order to reduce our plastic uses and clean up our seas. I’m taking initiative to help where I can to help our Earth.

“My favorite pastime is learning about astronomy. Space holds our origin and future. To me, learning about everything space holds gives me more meaning than anything else I’ve done. I love to learn about the physics of it, the lifecycle a star experiences and even doing some groundwork while I point out planets and constellation by memory. This Sunday is a full lunar eclipse and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing that while the moon looks as if it’s significantly closer to earth because of its position on the horizon.”
