The ins and outs of homecoming week

The week of September 21-27 is homecoming week, and throughout the week there will be a number of activities to participate in.

“Monday is the powder-puff game, Friday is the homecoming game, the pep assembly, and the parade. Saturday, of course, is the dance,” sophomore class president Skylar Parks said. “The entire week is Spirit Week, too.”

On Friday, SRT will be switched with fourth hour, and the pep assembly will take place during this time.

“I think the games if you participate are the most fun part about the pep assemblies,” junior Anna Olszewski said. “Sitting in the bleachers with all of your friends is always a fun time, too.”

In addition to the school-wide events, the yearbook staff will host games for everyone to play on Monday.

“We are having a balloon game where you pick a balloon to pop; there are slips of paper inside that could give you $5 off a yearbook” senior Miranda Crews said. “We are really are pushing to sell books this week before the price goes up.”
