“I love to dye my hair, and I love music; if I could have music injected into me, I would. I love my friends and family, and I believe that everything will be okay if you just keep going.” -Sophomore Toby Escobedo
“I’m passionate about music. I love listening to it, I love playing instruments and I love sharing my music taste with others.” - Junior Nia Vardon
“I like to do cross country, basketball, and track.” [cross country is] “more on your own, but you’re also still running for the team. With it being my first year doing cross country, I like track more. I really like fishing.” - Junior Grant Hunault
“I love being able to dance because I love doing a sport with my friends and having other commitments outside of school. It also gives me great life experience. I have danced for 12 years, and every year I love it more. Although I have other commitments outside of school, I am still focused on my future through getting good grades and planning.” - Sophomore Ella Price
“I am passionate about volleyball. Volleyball is a game that has helped me in multiple ways than one; I have developed a hard work ethic, a sense of identity, and social skills that I will carry through the rest of my life. Volleyball always shows up for me, so I will always show up for it.” - Junior Maryn Teddy
“I’m passionate about band/saxophone and cross country. For cross country, I like the push I give myself when I am running and the satisfaction of when I finish a run or race. My goal for cross country is to push myself as much as I can for mileage and pace. With band, I tried playing other instruments, but I never stuck with them until I played alto, and now my goal is to play all 4 saxophones.”-Freshman Cora Campbell
“I love lacrosse. It’s awesome. It’s my favorite sport that I’ve ever played. I’m really good at it. I started playing it after I broke my wrists and I quit football. And I just kind of picked it up really quickly. You want to improve yourself more, and the best way to do that is not give up. I ski for myself. First time I ever went skiing was when I was like 10, I was really young.” (What I like about video games is,) “there’s so many worlds you can immerse yourself in.” -Junior Aidan McKenna
“I am passionate about my friends and family and reading. My family and friends mean a lot to me, and they keep me happy always. Books are similar for me as it’s like an escape where I can go into a new world while reading, and I love that it broadens my vocabulary and my knowledge.”- Junior Tripler Hillis
“I play baseball, and then in the winter, I ski. My parents signed me up when I was four, and then I just did it ever since. I think they just wanted me to try out sports. They signed me up for everything. I did cross country, the ski team, and then track. Then, in eighth grade, I did baseball.” -Sophomore Brandon Perantoni
“I’m passionate about photography. I started my freshman year, so it’s my third year on yearbook staff. I mostly shoot stuff out of school, usually shoot band-related stuff, halftime shows, and sports. It’s what I want to do when I grow up.” - Junior Caroline McGlinnen
“My favorite summer memory was going to New York for a softball tournament. But we also had time to go sightseeing on the (Niagara) Falls. I’ve gone to a lot of states. I’ve been to Oklahoma, Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, so states below Michigan. I travel a lot for softball and vacation.”- Freshman Danielle Golen
“I’m passionate about cheerleading and my family. My favorite part about cheerleading is stunting and seeing our parents reactions when we hit a crazy stunt. I like to hang out with my brother, he’s only one so I'll chase him around the house for fun.” -Freshman Lexi Griggs
"I like to competitive dance and also competitive water skiing. I like dancing, I feel like it takes a lot of mental focus, along with physical capabilities, it takes a lot of determination because the practices are long hours. Water skiing is super fun, it’s with Silver Lake Ski Club, and those practices are every day in the summer at night for like two hours. So I usually dance, and then if I can make it to water ski, I’ll do water ski, but it’s like number one commitment. My favorite subject is probably advanced publications. I like yearbook because I like creating social media posts and working with marketing.” - Senior Karley Russell
“My name is Spencer Phipps, and I’m a sophomore in high school with a passion for pushing myself every day. I’m heavily into powerlifting, which has taught me a lot about discipline and mental toughness. At the same time, I play golf, a sport that challenges me in a completely different way—requiring focus, patience, and precision. Outside of those, working out is more than just a hobby for me; it’s something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to.” - Sophomore Spencer Phipps
“Running is something I care a lot about coming from a soccer background I’ve always been running but after this past indoor season I know the skies and the limits and I can’t wait to pursue running hopefully into college.” - Freshman Gerard Gilmour
“Right now I’m working on a business of fixing computer components and then reselling it. I built computers in the past, and I enjoyed that, just taking apart components, it’s what I like to do. I’ve taken apart laptops with my parents’ businesses. I fix up their laptops, give upgrades wherever they need, and my PC at home, I built three (to) four years ago.” -Freshman Steve Wielichowski
“I love spending my time with my friends and family and talking to everyone. I play tennis for the school and have made so many friends while doing so. I want to go to college after high school to become an ultrasound tech.” - Freshman Isabella Zub
“My favorite hobbies is probably tennis and marching band. I like tennis because I get to be outdoors and I get to be with all my friends at school. I trust my instincts. The thing I like the most about ( Marching Band ) is the football games, because I get to be with all my friends once again, and I think it’s really fun just being out there on the field. I sometimes get nervous, like before the first game last year, I was very nervous. I know I messed up a few times, but I think this year is going to be even better. ( Bary Sax ) is a big instrument, so marching with that, it’s going to be hard, but it also produces a better and bigger sound. Band camp was amazing. My favorite school subject has got to be either social studies or band. ( I like Social Studies because of ) the history aspect and learning about our past and what we can do to prevent from the past happening.” - Freshman Alexander Pardington
“My plans after high school are to continue early middle college through Mott and get my Associates degree in general studies. Then, I will transfer to Michigan State and continue my education there to eventually graduate with a degree in interior design.” -junior Anissa Cox
“I’ve always wanted to be a real estate agent, but, after doing a lot of research, I found out that if you invest in real estate, you’ll make more money and it’s easier. I will be buying a duplex for my first investment, and I will be renting out either both or one part and live in the other part just to build money to buy more establishments to rent out.” -Senior Christopher Dobek
