On Oct. 5, the boys golf team held a major off-season fundraiser at The Preserve Golf Course in Tyrone Township.The teams for the event consisted of high school players, many parents, and other community members.

“The outing was such a success that the team would like to make it an annual fall event,” Coach Ty Szczepanski said. “The boys on the team and the coaching staff organized the entire event which included securing more than 50 sponsors from around the community to recruiting teams to play.”

Participants golfed the course and participated in a raffle drawing of which all of the proceeds will be used to cover the costs of travel accommodations and equipment for the spring season such as golf balls, team bags, tournament fees, and any other equipment needed by the players.
