“I’m really into arts and criminal justice. Art runs in my family and a lot of people are good at it in my family. I find criminal justice so interesting and all the detective things are interesting to me. I am planning on taking forensics in the future. I looked into being a homicide detective negotiater in the future and that is my goal. One of my moms friends is a homicide detective negotiater and that interests me.” - freshman Ayva Douglas

“I’ve been skiing for 15 years and racing for almost 10 years. My favorite thing about the Fenton ski team is the community we create with one another that is unlike any sport at Fenton High School. We are like a big family; we support one another, push each other to be the best person and skier we can be, and make sure everyone is having fun and is included. “I would say I’m pretty passionate about theater. I’ve been doing it since fourth grade, so that’s six years. I am really into this stuff and having this opportunity to do it at my high school is really nice and is a really good home for a lot of people who want to do this similar thing when they grow up. I actually am going to go to college, probably University of Michigan, for theater, musical theater, screenwriting and directing and whatever else you can go for for filming. Through my time in the theater department I’ve found a lot of jobs and opportunities that seem appealing to me and I would like to try them.” -Sophomore Gage Ogle
