“I’ll probably go to college or something, or hopefully get into college. I’m aiming for John Hopkins, that’s kind of not in my range. So whatever accepts me, I guess. I was trying to be a trauma nurse for a hospital and stuff, because it just seems and I like to help people.” -freshman Makayla Novotny

“I've been playing soccer for around 12 years. My favorite part about Fenton soccer is the brothership and the home it gives to each of us. Every day, you could go to practice whether it was a great day for you at school or an absolutely awful one, and know that each one of your brothers will support you and make you feel like a family again. I have offers to play soccer in college, but I still have to make a decision because of all the injuries I’ve had while playing.” -Senior Sawyer Miller

“I’m Alexandra, I’m a 10th grader and I am in KEY club and ECO club. Outside of school I like to go out with friends and travel with my family. In my free time I listen to Lana Del Ray, I’m a huge fan and I got to see her in concert a while ago. I haven’t always gone to Fenton, I came to Fenton in 9th grade from Notre Dame Prep. I enjoy FHS more than any school I’ve gone to because of the great community of people and the majority of opportunities I have here.” -Sophomore Alexandra Stern

“I am on FHS’s varsity volleyball team. I’ve been playing volleyball for five years and have been a part of SLPR, Legends, and Arsenal’s volleyball clubs. We’ve achieved a lot as a team: We won the Metro and this year were 25-3. I take my education very seriously: I’ve taken numerous advanced classes, some of my favorites being AP Statistics, AP Government, and IB Spanish. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and family.” -Senior Abby Gonzales

I am pretty passionate about writing. I love writing since I was like seven years old. Was there anything you think that might have inspired you to be interested in writing? “I’ve done concert band since sixth grade, so four years now. I’ve only been in marching band for two: It’s a hobby that makes me calm down and focus on something. I play mellophone and french horn; I’m best at french horn. Band has offered me a lot of great opportutunities. Last year, in wind ensemble, we went to a festival for states and got straight ones. After highschool, I plan on going to Northwestern to study engineering. I’ve always been a couple steps ahead in math, so engineering kind of just feels like my calling.” -Sophomore Ava Dudley
