Fenton has introduced yet another new restaurant, La Marsa Mediterranean Cuisine. At it’s brand new Fenton location on Silver Lake Parkway, La Marsa already has a reputation for having an inviting atmosphere.

“La Marsa is a big square,” junior Jacob Taylor said. “Some restaurants have corners where you can not see the waiters, but ours is very open and welcoming.” Can Jacob expand.

Taylor, who works at La Marsa as a waiter, said that the restaurant has a unique atmosphere. Sophomore Dow Kaenpracha works there as a waitress, and she sees comparisons within the area.

“It definitely feels like a foreign family-friendly atmosphere,” Kaenpracha said. “The best comparison to La Marsa is probably Sagebrush, which is a Mexican restaurant.”

Being the first Mediterranean restaurant in Fenton, La Marsa’s employees have noticed that they have gained cultural experiences while on the job.

“Because the workers there are very nice, I have learned a lot about different cultures,”
Taylor said. “I’ve even managed to learn a couple words in Arabic.”

La Marsa is a growing restaurant chain, recently establishing its eighth location. In Fenton. Already with a reputation for being family friendly as well as cultural, La Marsa comes with a different experience for the small town. La Marsa is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m, Monday through Sunday.
