“I would say my mom is the most influential person in my life. She loves to take on leadership roles, in the Fenton Education Foundation for example, and is open and friendly with anyone she meets. Her kind, hard working, and outgoing personality has reflected on the person I’ve become. If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be as confident or charismatic.”

“My mom is the most influential person in my life. She is always there for me, and she wants me to succeed in life. At times, I feel like she wants things in my life for me more than I do. Like when I was accepted into MSU, she was even more excited for me than I was. On top of that, she is extremely caring, and puts others above herself, even if she doesn't know them. If I didn't have her, I don’t know what I would do.”
