Marine Band performs for the bands at FHS
On Tuesday Feb. 4 during 2A, the Marine Core Party Band came and performed in the auditorium here at FHS for the band classes and the eighth grade band.
“The thing I liked most was that the band played upbeat music and the performance was really cool,” sophomore Jonathon Fleck said. “There were two drums, two saxophones, two trumpets and two trombones.”
The band came because they are on tour and they play their music for schools all around. Along with playing their music, they also talk about how students in band could join the marine band and the steps to getting there.
“The band was awesome and I don’t know about joining the marines but I would definitely join the band,” sophomore Mitchell Ferris said. “Everybody should check out their talent.”
