“My grandparents were teachers, my parents were teachers, my sisters a teacher. Third generation teacher. But I fought becoming a teacher, I didn’t become a teacher until I was 32 years old. I didn’t want to be a teacher, I vowed never to step into a high school again after I graduated. I like it though, never say never. I like the unexpected of teaching. You never really know what your day is going to be like. I don’t like routines and teaching is never a routinely job.”
