“My passion is dance. I started seven years ago when I was 12. My brother had been dancing for two years and I was always so intrigued and had such good relations with the teachers and their students; it was basically my second family and I enjoyed it so much even before I was dancing going to all the competitions and watching all the dances. When I started dancing I started with something I’m still quoted for till this day, ‘dance isn’t gonna make me work that much like football or baseball’, sports that I had done previously before. My first day coming to dance in 2012, I thought it was gonna be a breeze and immediately made a huge mistake. I came out drenched in sweat and so sore that I hadn’t used some muscles before in previous sports. These last five years I have been competing for Ms. Bridget’s school of dance and have grown with my technique in dance and won many trophies for every dance I have been in from jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip hop. I also do ballet for more technical experience. It has been a very memorable experience for everything going to nationals from winning titles with all my friends.”
