“I started skiing my freshman year, and I’ve been playing soccer since my sophomore year. I like both of them equally, because through soccer I’ve made a lot of friends and bonds with my teammates and skiing is more individual, but there is still a team itself. My favorite soccer memory was from our first game my senior year. When we were walking out, we would like to play music on our speaker, and we had an altercation with one of the other team’s players, and to this day, we still talk about it. I would tell anyone thinking about joining the team to just do it, because soccer itself is a lot of fun and it allows you to make a lot of friends.” – senior Jonathan Moore

“My name is Lila White i'm a sophomore here at Fenton high. I am one of the trumpet sections in the marching band. I've been in a band for four years. I am a part of the jazz band the Wind ensemble where I play the Tuba. Outside of school I like to hang out with friends, listen to music, and I'm a movie fanatic. I enjoy traveling. “My favorite hobbies include hockey, video games, and hanging out with friends. I’ve been playing hockey for at least eight years or something like ten years, and I really enjoy the sport, so it's a good way to spend most of my free time. ( My favorite thing about hockey is ) probably meeting new people and playing with my team. My favorite subjects in school would definitely be math or science, stuff like that. “I’m on the varsity swim team: I mostly do sprinting events such as the 100 of any stroke. I’m also pretty good at the 50 freestyle, 200 freestyle, and the individual medley. My favorite thing to do, though, is relays. I like the team aspect and being able to cheer everyone on. Outside of swimming, I like to lift, golf, and play Rainbow Six Siege. I also love being around my family: I have an older brother who graduated last year. We like to play Mario Kart together.” - Junior Finley Hughes

“I’m passionate about music and sports. I play volleyball and sing in the Ambassadors. I also lead the worship team for my youth group, which is something I love being a part of. In my free time, I enjoy reading and writing, and I hope to publish my own novel someday.
