“Lights, Camera, Hoco!” This year’s homecoming will take place on Saturday, Sept. 28. It will be held in the school’s main gymnasium. The dance is slated to start at 7 p.m. and end three hours later at 10 p.m. The theme and decorations will be based off of things associated with movies and film.
Besides dancing, there will also be a photo booth. The Student Council President senior Brooke Waters said the photo booth this year will be a “digital photo booth.” This means the photos will be sent to the students instead of being printed.
Other events leading up to the homecoming dance include the pep rally on Sept. 27 also the parade after school on Sept. 27. The themes for the floats are Spiderman for the seniors, High School Musical for the juniors, Titanic for sophomores, and Top Gun for freshmen. There will also be the homecoming football game after the parade against Kearsley, the theme being orange and black.
Overall this year’s homecoming dance will be filled with fun activities and there will be something for every student to do and enjoy.
