Recently, Fenton’s new additions of Unbaked Cookie Co. and Sip N’ Swirl have made their appearance for the community to enjoy, with flavors of Strawberry Cheesecake Slush or Birthday Cake cookie dough. On Nov. 23, Sip N’ Swirl opened for the community and on Dec. 11, the Unbaked Cookie Co. also opened their doors for Fenton families to stop in. 

Sip N’ Swirl

Sip N’ Swirl is located right next to Pita Way, at 15278 Silver Lake Parkway and is open Sunday through Saturday, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. This cafe serves different drinks and snacks, but they are known for their bubble tea and Vietnamese coffee, according to Us103.com. 

I tried four drinks: Strawberry Milk Tea with Tapioca Pearls, Strawberry Cheesecake ice blend, Taro Milk Tea with Tapioca Pearls and the Jasmine Milk Tea. The Strawberry Cheesecake blend tasted just like I was drinking cheesecake with strawberries, but in a drink form. I enjoyed how the texture was like a frappuccino, just without the caffeine. I also enjoyed how the Strawberry Milk Tea had a very fruity taste and it was made with all dairy free ingredients. What surprised me was the Taro Milk Tea. I really enjoyed the vanilla and nutty flavor that combined together to create a purple color. This one was my favorite that I enjoyed, and adding the tapioca pearls was a great addition to the flavor as well. 

As someone who is a regular tea drinker, It is easy to be picky about what I am drinking. Sip N’ Swirl did not disappoint me one bit, as the taste and the service impressed me. Sip N’ Swirl is worth trying, as they have many different flavors to choose from and is just a short drive away. 

Unbaked Cookie Co.

Unbaked Cookie Co. is located across from Texas Roadhouse, at 1820 Silver Parkway. Customers can enjoy several flavors of cookie dough, all edible and made with safe ingredients. The flavors include Birthday Cake, Brownie Batter, Chocolate Chip, Salted Caramel, Sugar Cookie, Peanut Butter Lovers and Cookies N’ Cream. These are the flavors that remain the same, however there are seasonal flavors that come out. The shop is family owned and operated, and is a great snack to have. 

I tried the birthday cake cookie dough flavor and was very impressed with the taste and flavor that I felt in my mouth. There were sprinkles, pieces of cake and frosting all mixed together to create a delicious cup of cookie dough. The dough comes in containers big enough to eat yourself, or share as a snack. After tasting the birthday cake flavor, I will surely not share the next flavor I purchase. 

Overall, Sip N’ Swirl and The Unbaked Cookie Co. are great new additions to the Fenton area, as they are unique to all the sweet treat and drink places. With their one-of-a-kind flavors like Peanut Butter Lovers cookie dough and Strawberry Milk Tea, they are worth the drive to enjoy.
