“I started to get interested in RC cars in eighth grade and that pulled me into mechanics. I started to realize a lot of what I applied to fixing the little cars was the same on the big ones, with a large price difference of course, but I started to like off road capabilities on the radio control. It pulled me into the off-road world, which wouldn’t be as big as it is without Jeeps, and so I just kinda fell in love with Jeeps. I do a lot of off-roading; it’s fun to test what you’ve made. You don’t spend a bunch of time building a kite to never fly it, you put hours into wrenching on the jeep and see what it can do on the trails.”

“One piece of advice I wish everyone knew and always remembered is that life is not easy, there will be days that you dont want to go on or maybe cant go on, but it will always balance out. This is called regression to the mean, the world will always find a way to come back to the middle. So never give up when its a bad day because you will miss out on the amazing days that are coming. “My passions are writing, acting and making people laugh. Writing allows me to vent the emotions I can’t express. It allows me to say things I’m too afraid to say aloud. It helps me express my inner thoughts of the world and the perception of emotion I feel towards it’s existence. Another one of my passions, acting, is just fun. I love being a character. Finally, I love to make people laugh because it’s my favorite thing in the world to see someone smile. The best piece of advice I could give is that you can take in which you’ve given away. This is a line in an old movie called ‘A Wonderful Life’. It means you can only take what you have done for others to better yourself into an afterlife of your own, to find peace within death.”

“It started with the movie ‘Grease’ and 80s music, I loved it. I liked the idea of old-school romances and ‘Grease’ was a great start. Soon after getting into the era, I asked my parents for recommendations of other awesome 80s movies, they grew up in that time so they had plenty of sweet suggestions. Most of the movies I watched at the beginning (of when I got into the older-generation movies) that interested me included actress Molly Ringwald, like ‘Sixteen Candles’, ‘The Breakfast Club’ and ‘Pretty in Pink’. Other hit movies such as ‘Footloose’ and ‘Dirty Dancing’ are also high up on my favorites list. As for movies by decade, it started with only 80s, which progressed into the 70s, and eventually the 60s and 50s. Movies like ‘Love in the Afternoon’, ‘Roman Holiday’, ‘Loving You’, ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ and ‘Charade’ are all fantastic movies in a time before the iconic 80s. Some of my favorite movie stars are Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall and Patrick Swayze from the 80s, and Audrey Hepburn from the 50s and 60s. My goal is to find more unnoticed movies from the decades, the ones that didn’t get as much attention after having seen all of these hit classics.”

I love it because it is a form of art and the way I can express myself on my own canvas. “I enjoy music and singing in my free time. I’ve always liked singing since I was younger; my brother, Brennen, introduced me to it. Hes always been really into music and it inspired me to take more of an interest. I play the piano and the ukulele. In the past I took piano lessons, but for the most part Im self taught for both. I make YouTube and Instagram videos of myself covering songs. Often I look up to my brother, hes really good at writing and is super confident. I also like Ed Sheeran; hes super good at writing and playing different instruments.”
