“My little sisters name was Lylia Jane Personett, she was born with a brain tumor and she passed away at 13 days, six hours, one minute. She died in my dad’s arms and she’s the reason I’m a photographer. She really taught me to do everything I love to just capture the moment, hold it and never let it go because it could be gone in a moment. I held her twice in the time she was breathing and she’s really impacted my life to the fullest amount. No one else has been able to do that for me. I got a tattoo on my back of a snowflake because she was born in December. It’s like she’s always with me now and I feel like I’ll never be alone.”
