“I have been on the newspaper staff for all four years of high school. It was fun doing it all four years because I had a group of people that I could go through high school with the entire time and I had a safe place in Mrs. Hoover’s room. In my freshman year, my editor in chiefs were really great and they took me under their wings and helped me out with stories. I really enjoyed bonding with them. Advice for incoming freshmen who want to be a part of the staff is come in with an open mind and be ready to learn a lot, because writing for a newspaper is different from writing for an English class. You’re really going to have to dig for the information and just learn how to talk to people,” – senior Angelina Vitarelli
