Soccer season ended for the boys varsity team on Oct. 25. The team earned the title of  District Champions two years in a row.

The Tigers finished out the season with a winning record. Their one loss occurred at home against Goodrich High, resulting in a score of 0-1. Outside of the game against the Martians, they either tied or won every matchup on their schedule.

The season began for the boys with a change in leadership. The new head coach contributed the team’s success to the way they structured their practices.

“One thing that we do in practice is have fun and work hard,” Coach Mishael Kunji said. “I think that is what makes us so good.”

On Oct. 20, the team went up against South Lyon East High in the Michigan High School Athletic Association District Final, earning their Division 2 District Champions title for the second consecutive season. The team went on to play Riverview High on Oct. 25; losing 1-3, leaving the team out of the running for the state championship but walking away from their season with an overall 14-1-4 record.
