%E2%80%9CI+started+dancing+when+I+was+two+years+old.+I+love+dancing+because+it+gives+me+a+way+to+express+myself+and+I+have+made+some+of+my+best+friends+through+dance.+The+dance+season+is+all+year+round.+We+start+practices+in+August%2C+then+competitions+start+in+January%2C+recital+in+June+and+we+end+with+nationals+in+June+or+July.+I+practice+3-5+days+a+week%2C+usually+from+15-20+hours+a+week.%E2%80%9D+-+senior+Mary+Haiss%0A
“I started dancing when I was two years old. I love dancing because it gives me a way to express myself and I have made some of my best friends through dance. The dance season is all year round. We start practices in August, then competitions start in January, recital in June and we end with nationals in June or July. I practice 3-5 days a week, usually from 15-20 hours a week.” – senior Mary Haiss

“I am looking forward to church camp this summer. It is through the Freedom Center church; we go to Camp Faholo. We split up into 5 or 6 groups with about 75 people per group. We compete in relays and fun lesson games. After the games we have worship to reflect on the message of the day. My favorite literary work is The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov. After high school, I plan on going to Central Michigan University to major in film.
