“I am playing softball this spring. I’m looking forward to playing with some of my close friends and just having fun out there and enjoying the moment we are in. I love our team dinners at our home field, I love the food that the parents bring and the talks that we all have as players. It’s my favorite thing out of the whole season.” -senior Allie Michewicz

“I really enjoy playing video games and just like hanging out with my friends. My favorite video game is probably splatoon 3. I have played it since I was like eight. It’s just like really cool. It’s very colorful, very like fast paced game. There’s a lot of strategy that can go into it if you really play it like that, but it can also be played casually, so it’s very versatile to. I really like math this year. I feel like it’s very easy to understand the material. I play bass clarinet, but I also play clarinet and tenor saxophone. “Originally, I was planning on going to dental school and becoming a dentist but last year I took psychology and I just fell in love with learning about it. I’ve never really felt that way about learning something. I just found it so interesting. I want to be able to help people with what is going on in their minds, especially athletes because I understand first hand how mentally challenging some sports can be. I want to be a person who can study and help people understand what is going on in their own minds.” - senior Lydia Klemish

“I am passionate about my academics. I strive to get good grades and it really helps me feel better about myself, and overall just taking good care of myself. I take IB Bio, IB Chemistry, IB lit. Last year, I took AP psychology and AP government. A piece of advice I would give to an underclassman is to strive to do your best because it will pay off later in your high school career.” - senior Addie Browne

“I plan on hanging out with my friends as much as possible before we all leave for school. I will work a lot to save up for the future. I am going to attend Wayne State University. I will study nursing and specialize in pediatrics.” -Senior Amy Plunkett

“I moved to Michigan in March of this year: Before, I lived in Tacoma, Washington. I moved because my stepdad got a job in Redford, near Detroit. I have five siblings, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Only 1 of my siblings moved down with us, my 11-year-old brother Elvis. Outside of school I really like going to the gym. I started lifting about two years ago and have been passionate about it since. I go as much as I have time for, so usually five to six days a week. My other interest is roller coasters. I’ve been to Cedar Point five times before moving to Michigan.”
