“I’ve been playing softball since I was five, now I play for Turnin2 Caten and I have been on this team since I was 13. I’m most excited to travel to Chattanooga, Tennessee for a tournament this summer because that’s always a super fun tournament. “My favorite hobbies is probably tennis and marching band. I like tennis because I get to be outdoors and I get to be with all my friends at school. I trust my instincts. The thing I like the most about ( Marching Band ) is the football games, because I get to be with all my friends once again, and I think it’s really fun just being out there on the field. I sometimes get nervous, like before the first game last year, I was very nervous. I know I messed up a few times, but I think this year is going to be even better. ( Bary Sax ) is a big instrument, so marching with that, it’s going to be hard, but it also produces a better and bigger sound. Band camp was amazing. My favorite school subject has got to be either social studies or band. ( I like Social Studies because of ) the history aspect and learning about our past and what we can do to prevent from the past happening.” - Freshman Alexander Pardington
