2025 has approached us quickly, and so have the musical tours that come with it through the year. Many song artists are coming back this year, after years of not touring. These artists are selling out stadiums and are making a big impact on the musical tours of this year.
My Chemical Romance
My Chemical Romance (MCR) is back. After breaking up for six years, they reunited in 2019. However, because of the 2020 pandemic, the long-awaited MCR tour was put on hold. According to Screen Rant, MCR is playing their concept album “The Black Parade” on their 2025 tour.
MCR is being joined by several huge artists along this tour such as Alice Cooper, The Pixies and Evanescence, according to the Billboard.com.

Kendrick Lamar and SZA
“The Grand National Tour” of Kendrick Lamar and SZA is happening this year. Lamar and SZA have both worked together on seven songs before in the past.
Lamar released his newest album “GNX” without any warning, shocking people and causing the album to take the spotlight shortly after its released. “The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after its release, stealing the top spot away from the ‘Wicked’ film soundtrack,” according to Variety.
This June, Lamar and SZA will make their way to Michigan. They will both be performing together at Ford Field in Detroit.
AC/DC
After nine years of not performing in the United States, AC/DC will be performing across North America. The band will be playing their “Power Up Tour” across many states. The “Power Up Tour” will feature their 2020 album “POWER UP.”
The “Power Up Tour” is being played at Ford Field in Detroit on April 30.
Pierce the Veil
The “I Can’t Hear You Tour” is happening this year across America, Europe and Latin America. The tour shares its name with a line of lyrics from Pierce the Veil’s (PTV) song “Pass the Nirvana”.
According to Co-op Live, PTV will be performing songs from their 2023 album “The Jaws of Life” and other hits from past albums, such as “King for a Day (feat. Kellin Quinn)” from the album “Collide With the Sky”. Fans can expect to hear songs from all five of their albums on this tour.
Many artists with a similar fan base are joining PTV. Sleeping with Sirens, Beach Weather and Cavetown are just a few bands that plan to join PTV on their “I Can’t Hear You Tour”.
PTV will be performing in Sterling Heights at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill on June 1.
All of these artists are starting off their year performing music for fans to hear. From the returning bands MCR and AC/DC, to the top artists of this decade SZA, Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, the Creator, there is a concert that just about everyone can enjoy this year.
