Mrs. McDowell assigned an abstract sculpture design for her Art 1 students to create. “The finished product was supposed to deal with a person and the idea of distortion,” sophomore Molly Ferris said. “My inspiration picture I chose was really pretty so I decided to use a dark colored background to make the focus pop out.”
