Last Saturday, a group of students walked from the football field to Bush Park for the Suicide Prevention Walk led by Theater Director Lori Thompson. The group would hold up signs at traffic stops that had pictures of suicide victims in an effort to make people start talking about the issue. “I went because I know people who have felt depression and thought about suicide,” junior Nate Vasquez said. “I also know people who have been affected by suicide and weren’t strong enough to go, so I went for them.”
