Ive been playing hockey for about 11 years, sophomore Nick Temple (44) said. My dad introduced me to it, and I wanted to be like my brother so I started skating. My favorite part is the high-pressure points in the game and having fun. It was a little nerve wracking to be one of two freshmen on the varsity team this year, but I got comfortable over the course of the season.

Singing in front of the whole school, Senior Megan Mallard enjoys her last SRT holiday concert. Every year, the choirs and band perform during SRT. This year the concert was on the last day of school before Christmas break, Dec. 20.

While playing their new song, Andy Perkins band class played for David Thornton, the Michigan State University Associate Director Of Bands and Director of the Spartan Marching Band on Nov. 16. Thornton came in to help the Fenton Band, and directed them for 2nd hour, helping them achieve perfection in their notes.

I think people will donate to the project, everyone normally has one pair of shoes that they can donate to help the people in Latin America that dont have shoes. Its a good cause because we are all making a difference to help people around the world and stop a disease that is preventable.
