“I’ve been playing hockey for about 11 years,” sophomore Nick Temple (44) said. “My dad introduced me to it, and I wanted to be like my brother so I started skating. My favorite part is the high-pressure points in the game and having fun. It was a little nerve wracking to be one of two freshmen on the varsity team this year, but I got comfortable over the course of the season.”
