The varsity boys soccer team played Linden and went into overtime on Oct. 18. Pictured here, junio Alex Flannery blocks his Linden opponent. In the end, the Fenton soccer players won 2-1 and moved onto the next round in the metros league contest.

As he races toward the ball, freshman Ben Chapple tries to beat out his Goodrich opponents. The varsity soccer boys tied their game with goodrich 1-1 on Sept. 13.

As chemicals are mixed into a solution, junior Avery Logan tries to create a mixture that will form a jello when cooled. The anatomy students participated in this experiment to test the rate of consumption of the jello.

Senior, Tyler Dunn high-fives elementary and middle school students as they leave from their junior ambassador concert. The concert was a huge success with parents flooding the auditorium and the hall outside.

During their shared soccer practice, JV and varsity soccer players finish their soccer activity by sitting down.

During their jv soccer game, freshman Andrea Keoshian races down the field to score. The girls beat Bay City Western 1-0.

Walking with pride down the gym, junior Margaret Berry presents her role in the Honor Guard. The honors assembly continued smoothly as the seniors were awarded for their academic achievements.

Sophomore Amelia West cuts into a fish for their dissection. The students learned about the anatomy of the fish.

The AMS students took a trip to Lansing on May 2 and visited the Michigan Historical Center and the stat capitol. On their trip students were given roles to play out during the Detroit riots. Pictured here, sophomore Anna Janowak and her group talked through the simulation.

During their practice, junior Kara Kinser prepares to kick the soccer ball to score. Both the JV and Varsity teams enjoyed slushies at Speedway after their practice.

The American Studies students took a trip to the Holocaust museum on April 19. In this picture, sophomore Haileigh Hart and fellow sophomore Emma Senyko reflected on their trip, as well as their speaker presentation and what they had learned.

“My aches and pains are my greatest struggle, because when people don’t feel well, like the flu or the feeling after exercise, it is wearing and taxing on the body. Fibromyalgia has caused me to look at doctors, use my support group through my family, faith and beliefs. It has made me thankful for what I have, even though I may be down and dumpy I can rely on people in my job and support group. When you are going through a challenging time it is good to know that things are okay. You are never alone, you will always have somebody around. There are tremendous people out there, and if you don’t ask questions then shame on you.”
