Reaching up to cheer on his fellow teammates, senior Brendan Mathews watches as senior Kevin Lack takes the ball to the endzone for a 90 yard touchdown during the Wounded Warrior game. I dont remember a specific time we realized we had the win, but during the whole game I knew Swartz Creek wasnt matching our intensity, Mathews said. There is definitely a different feeling while playing when youre wearing the jersey. You feel honored and proud to wear the name of someone who fought for our country. Before the game there was a special feeling in the air and everyone just knew that it was a special night.
