Comedian Adam Sandler announced a second run of his successful comedy tour that began in 2022, with an added show in Michigan. 

Sandler is a critically acclaimed comedian, writer and actor whose claim to fame was his employment at Saturday Night Live in the 1990s. As his career has progressed within the entertainment industry, Sandler has done multiple stand-up specials, tours and acted in over 50 films. According to 313 Detroit, “Sandler’s films have grossed over $3 billion worldwide and his films on Netflix have been some of the streamer’s most successful.”

Sandler was just recently awarded the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor to commemorate his extensive success within comedy, writing and acting. 

“Adam Sandler Live” includes a show at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Apr. 17 at 

7 p.m. There is a “special guest” advertised for this show, but the individual has not yet been announced. The show is rated for mature audiences and is advised only for audiences of 16+.
