Lauren Gruber is a junior and this is her second year on staff. She is a photo editor for both the publications and journalism staff. She is on the varsity swim and ski team. She also is involved in the Student Council and National Honor Society. She hopes to share her knowledge of photography this year and is looking forward to a great year.

Running into third base, senior Michaela Willett is about to score for her team. The team lost to Howell during their home game on April 11.

Playing catch, sophomore Natalie Thomas laughs as she throws the ball to a teammate. The team spent their practice inside because of the rainy weather to prepare for their game against Howell.

Sitting atop an old fire truck, senior Colin O'Connor helps senior Abby Quesnelle try on a fireman's helmet. The students went on a field trip to the fire station to help them learn more about their arson unit in forensics science.

Competing in her basketball game against Clio, senior Kiley Aldred looks for someone to pass the ball to. The girls beat Clio 68-49.

To prepare for their Metro swim meet freshman Ben Sheffield gets his head shaved by his swim coach Brad Jones. The team had a pasta party on Thursday night to carb load and shaved their heads for the big weekend ahead.

Playing in her last home game of the season, sophomore Chloe Idoni fights off the Goodrich players. The girls won the game 60-55.

Presenting in front of AGS sixth graders senior Hailey Bates explains the purpose of this educational game. The Mentor Training program helps educate younger kids on the dangers of doing drugs and alcohol.

All the choirs at the high school come together to celebrate at their holiday concert. Performing a solo during the concert sophomore Joe Bujak along with the rest of the ambassadors charm the audience.

Jumping off her left foot junior Aly Lenz goes in for a shot to keep the tigers ahead. The girls beat Kearsley 57-51.

Holding off the Linden player, senior Zach West along with the rest of his teammates battle for the metro title against long time rival Linden. Fenton defeated Linden winning the metro title.

Competing against Fowlerville in the district final, senior Bobby Temple throws the ball back in during the game on Oct. 21. The boys won against Fowlerville Gladiators 3-0 moving forward to regionals.

After receiving the news of their win seniors Taylor Mowery and Parker Dagenais pose for a picture during halftime. The two had to compete against five other seniors for the title of king and queen.

Talking to the kids, senior Taylor Lawrence helps run the baseball clinic for baseball players. "I helped with the baseball clinic because I like playing baseball. It is fun to be a role model for kids who want to continue to play baseball in high school, the kids really look up to you. It is fun because you leave the clinic knowing that you helped a kid improve his swing, position, or throw, which is huge in the long run."

Trying to walk, senior Maya Chandy goes through a simulation that shows how drinking affects a person and what they do. "I completed this for my forensic class. The simulation made us see how a drunk person's vision and walk is affected from a sober person, we were not drunk of course, but it really showed what alcohol does to a person's sense and the effects it has on the body."

On Dec. 12, Captain's Club and members of the varsity football team met at Great Lakes National Cemetery. "We placed wreaths on the graves of fallen soliders," junior Logan Carter said. "I wanted the ribbon to look acceptable for the family of person who is buried there to look at over the holidays."
