Drinking his glass of sparkling grape juice, junior John Trecha plays his part as Mr. Dussel in the Diary of Anne Frank. “I was rehearsing for the play, and this is the part where I first arrived at the annex and am telling the Franks and the van Daans how terrible life has become on the outside. I put a lot of time and effort into the play. It was a very time consuming process, but it was worth it when when we got to the final result. We worked on the play after school most days from 2:45 p.m. to 6 p.m. or later everyday plus tech which was from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.”
