Black Friday; the day after Thanksgiving and traditionally the start of holiday shopping brings major stores like Target, Walmart and Amazon to publish their deals weeks ahead of the holiday. Local stores like Eclections, Gilks and others have published theirs for Fenton’s Black Friday.
Walmart on Owen Rd will open its doors at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving. The Black Friday ad for Walmart indicates with video games such as Sony PS4 1TB Slim Spider-Man Bundle for $199 or Nintendo Switch with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for $299, which is perfect for gamers. Electronics such as drones for $69 and Fujifilm camera bundle for $55. Online Black Friday deals start at 10 p.m. on Nov. 21.
Target on Owen Rd will open its doors at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving, but will close its doors at 1 a.m. on the morning of Black Friday before reopening at 7 a.m. Target’s Black Friday deals feature Beat Solo Wireless Headphones for $179, PlayStation VR Bundle for $249 and movies starting at $4.
Amazon started sales early with a “Countdown to Black Friday” sale that began on Nov. 1.
