A Father’s Day gift guide

Ariana Papcun, Writer

Father’s Day is coming up on June 19 and is a holiday dedicated to appreciating your dad and making sure he has a good day. However, dads are sometimes hard to buy for. Below is a list of ideas on what to get your father for Father’s Day.

1: Speakers

If your dad is into music, speakers are a great gift. Speakers can be a bit pricey but there are some less expensive options also like Sony and Insignia. Whether it’s big or small, it’s a great way to listen to his favorite music. Speakers can be purchased practically anywhere, but Best Buy and Amazon have both expensive and affordable options.

2: Drink Insulator

According to Good Housekeeping, a drink insulator is a good way to keep a drink hot or cold. It’s an easy way to keep dad’s drink at his desired temperature in case he has to work, travel or just wants to have a beverage. If it’s a hot day and he wants to keep his drink cool, an insulator is perfect and can be purchased on Amazon or bought at a local store.

3: Grill tools and accessories

If your dad loves to grill, tools and accessories are an excellent gift as reported by New York Mag. Burgers, ribs and more are foods that your dad can grill for a nice summer day. If your dad likes showing off his grilling skills, get him a nice set he can be the talk of the town with.

4: Hand tools

Hand tools are an efficient gift for Father’s Day because they can help with building and fixing things around the house. Spruce up your dad’s tool collection with a brand new set of tools for his toolbox, something that may be found in a lot of homes. They can be found at any local hardware store, like Home Depot or Tractor Supply Co

5: Cologne

If your dad wears cologne regularly, another option is to purchase him a new cologne. Some colognes are expensive, but there are a lot of brands that are cheaper and more affordable. Expensive or cheap, a new bottle of cologne is a great way to help your father smell fresh.
