Opinion: Chick-fil-A is not overrated

Chick-fil-A has been around for years and numerous people have eaten there, but some might think it’s an overly-hyped fast food restaurant with the regular chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets that can be found at most restaurants, as well as the long lines. But there are numerous reasons why Chick-fil-A is not overrated.
A major problem is that there are very few Chick-fil-A restaurants in Michigan. There are 22 in total according to chick-fil-a.com/locations, but they are all a distance from Fenton with the closest being Novi. With having so few, the restaurant often has a really long line. This isn’t usually a big problem, because the cars move fast with the rapid service.
The service at Chick-fil-A is like no other restaurant: there’s an employee outside according to Business Insider, no matter the weather, taking people’s orders. The hospitality is really shown through how the employees treat the customers. The workers move from car to car, getting orders from hungry customers, which is a very time efficient way to make sure the line of cars moves fast.
However, the food is relatively the same as other fast food restaurants. The chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets can be found at most fast food places. It’s a common food, but there are other attributes that sets them apart from other restaurants.
Although the chicken sandwiches can mostly be found anywhere, the waffle fries cannot. The fries and Chick-fil-A sauce is mostly what makes Chick-fil-A special. According to Chick-fil-A’s website, the sauce is simply made out of honey mustard and barbeque sauce and other ingredients, but it goes perfectly with the fries and chicken nuggets. The fries are lightly dusted with salt and have a perfect taste which makes them very popular.
According to CBS 42, Chick-fil-A’s most ordered food is the waffle fries. Chick-fil-A was also ranked first in customer satisfaction for seven years in a row.
Chick-fil-A is an enjoyable fast food restaurant for a lot of people. It is not overrated with the employee warmth, the fast service and the popular menu items. It definitely is worth the drive if you have a taste for some waffle fries or a chicken sandwich.
