The annual Fenton Jinglefest is scheduled for Dec. 7 in downtown Fenton. Activities will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 9 p.m.
According to FentonLindenChamber.com, activities at 10 a.m. include Rotary Christmas tree decorating at Bush Park and the holiday shopping spree drawing.
Commencing at 3 p.m. are several of the most popular activities of the fest: The JingleJog 5k, photos with Santa, bake sale and live reindeer will be available for the community to participate in or view.
At 6 p.m., the lighted parade, tree lighting and fireworks will take place: The parade will begin off of West Ellen St. and loop around the block surrounding the Fenton Community & Cultural Center spanning a mile. After the parade, all are invited to watch the annual tree lighting ceremony in the lawn of the community center. Fireworks will be on following the tree lighting, causing Rackham Park to be closed from 4:00 p.m. until the end of the firework show.
