Fenton High offers several different clubs appealing to many crowds. A club can be a way of meeting new people and learning new skills. FHS offers 30+ unique clubs. This series will feature the clubs of FHS along with what they entail. “Beyond The Bell” is meant to showcase the clubs at FHS and what they are.
E.C.O. Club is Fenton High School’s “Environmentally Conscious Organization,” as stated in their official Instagram bio. Because of E.C.O. Club, FHS has been a Michigan Green School since March 2024. “We are dedicated to assisting all Michigan schools, public and private, in achieving environmental goals that include protecting the air, land, water and animals of our state,” Vice President senior Addie Browne explained. “We are also the biggest club in the high school, which is huge.”
The 2024-2025 E.C.O. Club executive board includes President senior Emma Rush, Vice President senior Addie Browne, Secretary senior Laila Blackwell, Treasurer senior Ruby Wojtaszek and head of Public Relations senior Christina Dugan.
