Fenton High offers several different clubs appealing to many crowds. A club can be a way to meet new people and learn new skills. FHS offers 30+ unique clubs. This series will feature the clubs of FHS, along with what they entail. “Beyond The Bell” is meant to showcase the clubs at FHS and what they are.
Welcome to students from any and all backgrounds, Students for Christ is a club focused on spreading the love and word of Jesus Christ. Since Sept. 2024, the club has been meeting with the goal of taking time to pray, read the Bible, and discuss in a judgment-free community.
Students for Christ was founded together by Sophomore Easton Willingham, Sophomore Alyson Bader, Sophomore Aiden Pescarolo, Senior Thomas Mikols and Senior Jakob Blough.
“Everyone has a purpose because some people just have that emptiness in their lives, and we have a hole in our hearts that only God can fill,” Sophomore Alyson Bader explained, “so people will feel empty, and we’re just there to tell them that there is a purpose for your life and that you do matter and that there are people that care about them and love them.”
Meetings are held on Thursdays after school in the Project Room at 2:40 p.m., and morning prayers are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the flagpole behind the school at 7:25 a.m.
The Google Classroom code for the Students for Christ club is hc2nhwb. Any students who are interested in knowing more can contact and follow the club through their Instagram account, run by Bader, @fhs.studentsforchrist.
