Emersyn Sprague, Writer

Sophomore Emersyn Sprague is a first year writer for the Fenton Inprint. Outside of writing she is a part of the high school ski team and is a part of the Silver Lake show ski team. Besides skiing and writing, she likes to hang out with friends and be outside. After high school, she plans to get a degree to be a pediatric nurse.

“My favorite sport that I do is skiing; I downhill ski in the winter and water ski in the summer. I downhill ski at Mount Holly and I usually go to the terrarian park and do the rails. In the summer I ski on silver lake with the Silver Lake ski team and I go over the jump on the water. ”Snow skiing is my favorite hobby and sport. I have been skiing for about 10 years now. I ski on the Fenton/Linden/Lake Fenton ski team in the winter. I ski in the winter with the school team, I play volleyball with the school and compete in a club team called Five-1 Volleyball Club in the winter and spring. “I like to read and do marching band. My favorite genre of books is romance, I do marching band through the high school and I have to wake up at five every morning. It makes me happy when we do really good performances, but waking up early for practice can be really annoying. My friend Rayna told me I should join Marching Band but I wasn't sure. I learned the trombone in March, so it hasn't been long. “I’m passionate about being active. I stay active by doing show skiing and racing on skis for the high school. My sister started water skiing about two summers ago I guess I just got sucked in. I have been snow skiing since I could walk. When we would go to competitions my favorite part was staying up late with all my friends.
