With the help of the Fenton fire department, sophomore Avery Logan gets the opportunity to use the departments fire hose. Science teacher Matt Sullivan was responsible for getting the departments help in filling up the school’s pond.

While attending girls in business, junior Julia Stocker works with her group to come up with an invention and a marketing plan to go with it. The girls who were present had the chance to talk to multiple women who took the opportunity to pass on any advice they had.

As the media center provides free coffee for students and teachers, freshman Emily Allor seizes the opportunity along with her friends. The library also had media center students ALA award projects on display for students and staff to enjoy along with their coffee.

After receiving his diploma, senior Kyle Gauer hugs his teacher. The high school hosted an early graduation ceremony for Kyle and his family.

Performing in front of the judges, freshman Taylor Wire executes her stunt alongside her team. The girls compete in a total of three rounds per competition.

In their first invitational competition, senior Madison Dotson competes alongside her competitive cheer team. The girls went against schools from all around the county and earned themselves second place.

At this weekends meet, junior Joey Haiss shows his excitement as his teammate gets first place in his event. The boys swim team competed against approximately 12 schools and they earned second place at their county meet.

Taking part in last weeks blood drive, junior Breanne Ferranti takes time out her day to donate blood to Michigan Blood. At the end of the day the total amount collected was 74 pints of blood.

Competing in an event that he doesn't normally swim, junior Josh Kippe swims the 100 backstroke. The boys swim team took first place in their meet against Brandon’s swim team.

During their home competition, the Fenton Competitive Cheer team performs their routine. The girls next competition will be at Linden on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 6:00 p.m.

Having brought in a canned good for the Hunger Hoopla, senior Delany Hundzinski fills out her ticket for a chance to win one of four gift cards for local restaurants. This year key club collected enough canned goods to fill the stage at word of wonder.

Volunteering her time freshman Riley Spock carries her wreaths down the path looking for a empty gravestone. This past Saturday the Fenton basketball teams volunteered their time at the Great Lakes National Cemetery by honoring veterans who are laid to rest there by placing wreaths on their graves.

Trying to keep balance on the beam, freshman Lauren Hayden performs her balance beam routine during the teams most recent competition. The girls varsity gymnastics team is composed of girls from Fenton, Lake Fenton, and Linden schools.

While guiding her partner down the hallway, senior Taylor Shegos doges her partner as he blindly plows down the hallway. All the Psychology classes got the chance to experience what it would be like to lose our sight and have to rely on our other senses.

While volunteering at the Lunch with Santa, junior Zena Alshomali takes pictures of the kids getting to meet Santa. The lunch is put on by the Kiwanis Club and the Key Club members from the surrounding high schools have the chance to volunteer their time.

Junior Kirsten Foor lays a wreath on a grave. The boys and girls basketball teams went to the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly to lay wreaths for the holiday season.

While attending the Wounded Warrior game, seniors Lilly Rising and Libby Carpenter show off their school spirit by dressing up in red, white, and blue. The Wounded Warrior game is an annual tradition for the football team where the players honor members of the community who have served by wearing a jersey with their name on the back.

Competing against Brandon’s swim team, freshman Emma Jump completes a backward dive. The dive team this year is made up of five girls, two of which participate in gymnastics in their off season.

After participating in the Cross Country ball run on the day of the homecoming game, freshman Kaitlin Bayer leaps into a trust fall with some of her fellow teammates. The Cross Country team ran all the way from Kearsley High School to Fenton running approximately 27 miles while switching teams throughout the run.

Senior Sophie Crews guides Senior Brandon Bossenburger to the square during a psychology experiment. Each student was assigned to experience enhanced senses.

Taking part in the senior float building meeting, senior Vivian Huyhn helps come up with ideas for this years float. The seniors float that was Mario brothers themed took third place in this years contest.

Waving to the crowd, senior Jacob Taylor shows his excitement along side senior Molly Gundry during the crowning of the freedom festival king and queen. Both Taylor and Gundry were crowned King and Queen at the silver lake ski show over the summer.

Hanging out downtown, seniors Haley Jackson and Delaney Hundzinski share a laugh while touring the old cars. Back to the bricks was brought to downtown this year and was a big hit with the community.

While hanging out with her SRT siblings over the summer, junior Madi Wheeler enjoys her time with the graduated seniors before they leave for college. Wheeler was responsible for getting together English teacher Brett Mead's SRT for one last party.

Taking part in an enzyme lab, junior Delaney Miesch measures out the amount of hydrogen peroxide needed for the lab. The enzyme lab was the first lab of the year for the anatomy classes.

Reunited at his summers blood drive, senior Libby Carpenter hugs junior Delaney Miesch after she gives blood. this was the school's first blood drive with Michigan Blood.

While volunteering at the princess ball, senior Arianna Mansour paints nails of the young princess’s attending the ball. The National Honors Society members volunteer their time every year when the ball comes to town.

Working collectively in their pods, freshman Hunter Wheeler, Lucas Shelton, Amir Bohdjelian, Jalen Plumbly along with other classmates use the new technology bought with the bond.

Swimming in her last county meet, senior Rachel Ritticher swims the 100 butterfly. The Fenton girls swim and dive team took second place at this years county meet.

Chanting along with her teammates, freshman Catherine Haynes participates in her first Tiger Relay's. Fenton hosted this years meet which included teams from all over the county.

Measuring the correct amount of liquids seniors Grace Xiong and Megan Deming complete an enzyme lab. The enzyme lab is one of many that Anatomy classes complete throughout the year.

Volunteering at the Culver's fundraiser, freshman Ellie Vasbinder and Kaitlin Gruber hold signs out by Owen road in hopes of drawing in customers. The Fenton Publications staff put on a fundraiser Tuesday night in order to raise money for future conferences and summer camps.

On Monday night's game, sophomore Logan Welch one of the teams players pitched during that nights game. The jv boys baseball team played two games against Linden winning both with the scores of 6-3 and 3-0.

Going sledding for the first time ever, foreign exchange student Lucas Bartoleto experiences Michigan weather in all its snowy glory. This was his first winter and his forensic science teacher Matthew Sullivan wanted him to experience sledding before the snow melted.

This meet was different than the others mainly because of how the lineup was chosen, the girls spun a wheel to decide what events that would swim that night.

Leading her relay team in her last hell week, senior Elise Cassidy participates in the traditional halloween relays with the rest of her team. Every year the girls swim team end their long tedious hell week on a fun note by competing against each other in halloween relays.

Competing on her second day back after recovering from a concussion Junior, Taylor Shegos performs a front dive with a half twist. Shegos along with her fellow teammates dived well on Tuesday evening helping Fenton with the win against Howell.

Along with the rest of her class Senior Meaghan McArdle explores Fenton's local junkyard looking for the perfect "evidence" as a part of her forensics assignment. The junkyard is only one field trip the forensics class will go on this year, they also have the police station and fire station that they will have the opportunity to visit.

Finishing the base of the coral reef Junior Joe Fehir spends his Sunday working on his classes float. The Juniors picked Finding Nemo for the theme for this years parade.

As Senior Lauren Gruber counts for Senior Elise Cassidy while she swims the 500 backstroke during the 500 freestyle at their meet last week. Fenton won that meet against Holly while Cassidy placed second in her event.

Completing the back 1/2 tuck dive, Junior Taylor Shegos, along with 5 other divers competed against Powers Catholic High School last Thursday. Taylor completed her six dives finishing with a total score of 247.55 points helping with Fenton's win against Powers.

During passing time in the Counseling Office, Junior Julia Acton signs up for an appointment to see her counselor.

Getting ready to break concrete, junior Adam Bugala practices for Mr. Fenton. "I won first place and I thought that was pretty cool," Bugala said. "It's nice to know that people like to watch me when I am doing karate because I've done it since I was nine."
