Leaning against the podium, sophomore Lauren Koscielniak prepares to read her poem for Honors American Studies. Koscielniak and her classmates were tasked with writing poems about historical figures from the Fenton area and presenting them along with some background on the person they chose.

During the Culver's fundraiser on Dec. 7, senior Shelby Kienast and freshman Abby Sizemore take a break from working. The two members of the publications staff were volunteering at the fundraiser supporting both the Inprint and Fentonian.

Laughing with her group, sophomore Katelyn Wallace discusses important issues from the 1900s. She participated in the annual Honors American Studies tea party, which involves students dressing up as intellectuals from the early 20th century and discussing with their classmates.

Playing a game during lunch, sophomore Tori Fitzgerald attempts to successfully flip a water bottle. There were games each day during lunch to promote the yearbook.

While volunteering at the first blood drive of the year, seniors Reid Thompson and Sean Stiles take a break. They, along with many other NHS members, spent most of the day helping out at the blood drive.

Leaping into the air to hit a tennis ball, junior Baylor Hamilton practices with his Varsity Tennis teammates.

During practice, senior Trevor Dymond and the rest of his team take a break. Their coach rewarded them for their hard work leading up to Regionals the next day with slushies.

During Regionals at Holly High School, sophomore Ethan Gutzeit prepares to hit the ball. Gutzeit along with his teammates placed in the top three at Regionals and moved on to States the following week.

During Varsity Tennis practice on October 3rd, freshman Stephen Bloss prepares to hit the ball over the net. The team went through practice, as usual, preparing for regionals later that week.

During the Homecoming pep assembly on October 7th, junior Matt Sullivan cheers for his class.

During a huddle at half time of the Powder Puff game, junior Lily Rising starts a chant to get the rest of her team more energized for the second half. The juniors pulled off a victory against the seniors in the second half of the game.

Reading through the script for the first time, senior Makayla Bachman prepares to audition for the Little Prince. She planned to audition for a role as the rose.

As the song "Pep Rally" by Missy Elliot plays in the background, sophomore Jamie Elrod free style dances. Each dancer took their turn dancing to this song, as they prepared for it to be the song they used for their first dance of the year.

As the dancers are waiting for practice to start, they are also taking turns getting measured for their team uniforms. Junior Megan Deming was one of the first ones to get measured and then return back to the rest of the team to begin stretching.

Junior Ariana Mansour directs the marching band during their practice on August 25th. Mansour, along with senior Chase Raymond, were in charge of making sure everyone was working hard and learning their new songs for this year's football games.

Waiting for band practice to start, senior Karmyn Long laughs along with the other members of the drum line.

Sophomore Skyler Koleda marches intently while listening to Andrew Perkins' directions. Koleda, along with the rest of the band, marched across the football field and played their parts for the song "Holiday" by Green Day.

The Varsity Volleyball team stands in front of their family and friends at Meet the Team. The group shared laughter while being introduced by their team captains at the event on August 18th.

Laughing while junior Abby Koza, introduces herself, the Varsity Cheer team, stands in front of their family as well as the other varsity level teams at Meet the Team.

Jarrett Smith, senior, introduces himself at Meet the Team on August 18th. Smith also introduced the rest of the Varsity Football team to their friends, families and the other Varsity teams.

Prochista Sarshar, a foreign exchange student from Germany, works on an assignment during SRT. Sarshar will be staying with sophomore Maci Best and attending Fenton High School for the entire school year.

Last Saturday, a group of students walked from the football field to Bush Park for the Suicide Prevention Walk led by Theater Director Lori Thompson. The group would hold up signs at traffic stops that had pictures of suicide victims in an effort to make people start talking about the issue. "I went because I know people who have felt depression and thought about suicide," junior Nate Vasquez said. "I also know people who have been affected by suicide and weren't strong enough to go, so I went for them."
