Junior, Kara Piwowarczyk, talks to eighth graders about joining the Fenton High School Ambassadors. The Ambassadors perform again on Feb 24 at 7:30 pm, tickets are sold for $5.

Senior, Tommy Adams prepares to pin another wrestler from Clinton High School. Adams has been participating in the wrestling program all four years of high school, and was named captain.

Sophomore, Jack Killian prepares himself for his next dive. County's took place on Saturday, January 20th, the boys swim team placed in many meets.

In between sets, junior Jake Iddings and freshman Alec Maddock take a break and chat with teammates. Varsity swim compete next on Feb. 22 and 23 at home.

During the 2nd day of their mural project in Mrs. McDowell's advanced art class, junior, Ari Combs, begins to paint the start of her mural. Alongside her friend, senior, Hannah Clarke their mural ultimately represented peace in honor of the shootings in Las Vegas.

Just minutes before the start of the 2017 Homecoming football game, the varsity football team gets riled up by their head coach. After running between cheerleaders and youth football players, the boys leap to touch the "Fenton Supports You!" banner.

During the varsity football game against Holly, senior, Joshua Maher, points to the sky in celebration. Maher was passed the football and ran to score their 3rd touchdown of the game, ultimately adding to their win at the end of the night.

In the second half of the varsity football game against their rival Linden, senior, Chanse Setzke, intercepts a pass intended for the other team. After the interception Setzki runs toward the end zone for a tiger touchdown.

Participating in favorite sports team day, freshman, Elizabeth Donohue shows off her favorite team during lunch. Students around the school took part in this year's homecoming spirit week.

After winning the Battle of the Big House football game, senior, Joshua Maher runs and leaps up onto the side of the student section. Seniors, Makenzie Lookebill, Lily Rising, and many more congratulate him.

Before their last Hero's Night game of their high school career, senior, Racheal wright and Joie Raymond hang out with other classmates. Raymond and Wright planned to tailgate before the game, they cooked hot dogs and ate chips and salsa with their friends.

The boys varsity basketball team lost to Holly in the district semi-finals March 8. The boys lead the first half and started the second with a tie. Grand Blanc won in over time, 51-46.

Smiling at the camera, junior Nate Williams holds his work in Mr. Cocagne's class. "I drew a picture of a tower to demonstrate my skills at designing a building that will stay up," Williams said. "I'm glad that I was featured for my work because I worked hard to design a structure that is efficient and also stays up. If a building doesn't stay up, that's bad, and can also endanger many lives of it falls when people are in the building, so it's critically important to make sure building stay up."

The Fenton Ambassadors are known for their singing and dancing. This year, the group chose to incorporate American Sign Language into their performance of 'Fight Song' by Rachel Platten. "I really liked doing the dance," sophomore Kelly Canning said. "Our choreographer's daughter knows sign language so she taught us. We also have done sign language for each junior Ambassadors concert so we thought it would be cool to continue the tradition and do it for our own competition and concert."

Senior Peyton Coffman will also attend the University of Siena Heights in the fall. With all the accomplishments from the past four years, Coffman will be playing football at Siena. “I started playing football when I was 7 years old,” Coffman said. “I'm excited to carry on playing football because, I have an opportunity to continue my athletic career as well as my education. The signing went good to me because I'm one of a few Linebackers that signed with Siena Heights. I always had a dream to play college football and during my senior year I had coaches contact me from three other schools offer me but I decided Siena Heights was the best fit.”
