![Standing outside at Walmart, the UNICEF Club members run the bake sale they had over the weekend. Vice president of the club, junior Riley Wilson, was pleased with the money they raised. We raised $424. 86. The point of this lab is to learn about active and passive transport and how the cell membrane works. We started the lab with putting the egg in vinegar, then over the course of multiple days, we repeat the steps with water and corn syrup, Lenz said.
