Senior April Carr is a third-year staff member and editor for the Fenton InPrint. In her free time, she hangs out with her friends, volunteers for National Honors Society, as well as KEY club and goes to cheer practice. April also spends a lot of her time involved with the Rock Church and hopes to get even more involved this year.

“Cheer is a very big part of my life. I was a bit anxious joining the team at first, but it has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve made. My teammates encourage and push me to be the best version of myself inside and out of cheer. I picked up stunting and tumbling really fast when I joined and I enjoy doing both immensely. Despite being nervous at first, being the only boy is actually really fun, and is a great experience. Everyone on the team is very accepting and sweet. “It’s really hard to pick one specific memory because ski was so much fun all together. But if I had to choose, my favorite memory would have to be ski camp. Being an incoming freshman starting a new sport, ski camp was a great opportunity to get to know everyone. I had a ton of fun there, and all the kids and coaches were super nice. Throughout camp we played tons of fun games and interesting challenges.
