As a junior, this is Riann Masi’s second year on staff, where she is currently a writer. While Riann loves being on the InPrint staff, she also loves traveling, participating in sports, such as Cross Country, Softball, and Basketball, and also taking part in her community. Riann is a part of the schools KEY Club and Student Council and is excited for the new experiences, challenges and changes of the upcoming year.

I also have a tradition with some friends to wake up super early in the morning and go out to get coffee and hang out the whole day finding things to do and just have a great time. “My vision has changed very drastically in the sense of how much harder I would have to work for the grades I wanted and I experience I thought I would have. Before coming into high school I believed classes might be harder, but still be as easy as middle school. At the start of freshman year I barely put any effort into my grades and it showed. Now being in my second year of high school, I understand the amount of work and effort I need to put into my grades. My vision of high school changed, but for the better. “If I were stranded on an island I would bring a fishing net and a boat. I would bring these items to an island because both of them can save my life and provide me with safety. I would take the fishing net with me because it would be able to provide food and trap animals that may want to harm me. I would bring a boat because it’s an obvious escape from the island. “Being apart of the swim team has definitely changed my high school experience. Swimming has changed high school for the better and made me so much more comfortable in the school's environment, it makes me feel more involved. “My sister leaving for college was very hard for me because it affected my whole life not just my home life, but at school as well. It affected my home life because she wasn’t around when I needed her or when I needed a sister to talk to. It’s also a lot harder for me to get places now since I cannot drive and neither can my brother, my parents are divorced so my older sister Kyle drove my brother and I everywhere. Another hard part is not being able to talk to her face to face, her now living a state away at Baldwin Wallace University. It’s affected my school life because she knew how to help me with my school work when even my parents were confused. Having my sister around at home and school was a comfort I felt I took for granted.” - sophomore Jordyn Bliss
